When a classic car collector built a museum to showcase his world-renowned collection of automobiles, he also needed a catering kitchen that was capable of hosting large, private events. A Collection M Portofino door with a special 3-dimensional finish in a Dark Cherry high gloss finish was created just for this kitchen, with the attention to detail and handmade craftsmanship not unlike the classic cars in its company.
In addition, the kitchen needed to be worthy of being an exposed showpiece in full view in the midst of the museum.
As the kitchen became a noteworthy showpiece in itself, an expansive island was created as a functional preparation surface for the caterers, while also serving as a convenient buffet area during events.
